James K. Broussard, Jr. 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at home with his wife & daughters by his side, due to complications from cancer.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, Feb. 9 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas.

James was born in Beaumont to Alta Powell and James Broussard. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1976. He continued his education, graduating from Texas Tech University. The majority of his career was working in automotive sales. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading history.
He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. His wisdom, sense of humor and sincerity will be greatly missed.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Alta Powell.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lisa; daughters, Erin (Zach) Weir, Megan Broussard, Kirsten Broussard; granddaughter, Quinn Weir; parents, James and Sandy Broussard; siblings, Jerrold Broussard (Jerry), Wendell Broussard (Christy), Corey Halbert (Lisa), Kevin Halbert, Tina Otto (Gary), and Chris Broussard.
