Jack Sheldon Miles

Dr. Jack Sheldon Miles of Fort Worth went to be with the Lord on February 4th, 2014. He was born on November 23, 1919 in Tullos, LA to the late Houston and Elma (Weems) Miles. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Houston Claude and Elma May Miles, 2 sisters and 4 brothers, great grandson Derek Miles, 1 grandchild, Sharon Winnett, another great grandchild, and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Alice Miles of Rendon; adopted brother Terry Miles of Louisiana; daughter Patricia Fair and husband Vernon of Rendon; son Jerry Miles and wife Gwen of Rendon. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Jack was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Rendon, TX. Visitation will be Thursday February 6, 2014 from 6-8pm at Blessing Funeral Home. The celebration of life will be held at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas on Friday February 7, 2014 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
