Harold Ray Gill, 67 of Forest Hills, passed away on September 9th. He was born in Amarillo on June 24, 1956 to Lois Marie Pierson an Allen Harvey Gill. After graduating High School, Harold enlisted in the Honorable United States Army. He was stationed in Hawaii and became a carpenter by trade before his honorable discharge after a little over 2 years of service to his country.
Harold enjoyed fishing, especially with his son Ethan Gill on Lake Whitney. He loved spending time with his daughter April Renee Jones. He loved Bowling and was proud to have been inducted into the Bowlers Hall of Fame in Arlington for bowling a 300 – the perfect game. Harold loved building and carpentry, BBQ, being outdoors and with all of his children. He was beyond devoted to his son, daughter and family. He was a simple, peaceful, kind, and caring man and his presence will be deeply missed.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Allen Gill.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Ethan Alexander Gill, Daughter, April Renee Jones, step-children, Glen Stanley, Stephanie Stanley, Shane and Hazel Stanley, and Christine Ramsey; siblings, Alice Cryer and husband Rusty, Jim Gill and wife, Debbie, Don Gill, and Anita Gill; along with nieces, nephew, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
