Gloria was born December 5, 1925 in Eureka, Texas, the daughter of Jessie William McGehee and Clessie Monroe Pressfield McGehee. She married Robert John "R.J." Foster in Rockwall, Texas on January 1, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J., on May 27, 1999.
Gloria is survived by son, Clark Foster and wife Janice; daughter, Louise Grizzle; granddaughters, Gloria Foster, Marlana Thurman and Jacey North; great grandchildren, Drake, Emma, Cate, and Janna.
