Gilbert Tovar Iii

Gilbert Tovar, III served the United States Army as a part of the 101st airborne platoon as an infantry service man. He served 3 tours in the Vietnam War receiving a Purple Heart Medal. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Tovar. He leaves behind 7 children; Jennifer, Tomas, Jason, Amy, Brian, Raymond and Valerie. He is a grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He loved the outdoors being a scout leader for some years. He enjoyed spicing up the lives of loved ones with his ravishing cooking skills. The legacy he leaves behind is that of love, laughter, compassion and comedy. Always a smiling face and a bright soul. We love you Pops.
