George Andrew Lowery Sr.

George Andrew Lowery Sr., of Kennedale, Texas, was born September 17, 1924 in Kennedale, Texas, the son of Rufus and Renee Lowery. He passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Kennedale, Texas. George married Margie Banks on July 1, 1961 in Rendon, Texas.

He worked for years at General Dynamics on the flight line. George was a pillar in the community of Kennedale his entire life. He was a deacon at Bisbee Baptist Church and was on the City Council for many years.

George is survived by his daughter, Tracee Franklin and husband Tom; daughter, Lyn Schooley; daughter Debbie Kohler; grandson, Jereme Molina, and wife Kim and their children Jaxon and Jaycee; granddaughter Kandace Barnett, and husband Ben and their children Harper and Brooks; grandsons, Jim Hatley and wife Sue, Rick Hatley and wife Debbie, Tim Lowery and wife Lisa, and Brandon Schooley, granddaughter Juile Taylor and husband Jim; sister Rosalie Smith; and numerous great grandchildren.
