Genell Withers, 83, died March 5, 2018 in Waco.

Genell was born in Dallas on January 29, 1935, the daughter of James Claude Burrow and Hazel Crouch Burrow. She married William Elvin Bailey January 2, 1954. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1989. She married Langdon Abbott Withers February 4, 1995 in Mansfield. Together, they owned Blessing Funeral Home until their retirement in 2004. Genell was a devout Christian worshiping in the Whitney Church of Christ, the Mayhill New Mexico Church of Christ and North Mission Church of Christ in Mission.

Survivors include her husband, Langdon A. Withers of Whitney; sons, Mike Bailey and wife Laurie of Auckland, New Zealand, Pat Bailey and wife Stephanie of Fort Worth and Bruce Withers and wife Meleah of Hillsboro; daughter, Marcie Cantrell of Arlington; grandchildren, Anna Bailey Avidon and husband Jon, Clay Bailey, Brooks Cantrell and Gracie Cantrell; nephew, Dale Brooks and wife Janie; great grandchildren, Parker and Grayson Avidon; great nieces and nephews.
