Frances was born in Leonard, Texas on August 29, 1933, the daughter of Prore “Doc” Hammer and Mabel Elizabeth Yowell Hammer. She was a homemaker.
Frances is survived by daughter, Melba Snelson; grandchildren, Matthew Snelson, Mike Snelson, Michelle Snelson, Mitchell Snelson and Robert Cole; great grandchildren, Cody Snelson, Cristianna Brashear and husband Nathan, Chase Snelson, Dakoda Snelson, Brianna Snelson and Colt Snelson; great great grandson, Kyle McCallum; sisters, Mary Dunigan and Charlotte McDaniel; and brother in law, Wayne George.
