Floyd Dale Samuel, 81, of Mansfield, Texas passed away on April 17, 2014 and entered into the Kingdom of God.
Floyd was born April 30, 1932 to Edward and Bertha Samuel in Rhome, Texas. He graduated from Mansfield High School, class of 1951.
Floyd was married to Emogene Samuel (Boen) on February 6, 1953; they enjoyed being married for 61 wonderful years.
Floyd worked for First National Bank, now Bank of America for over 32 years. He retired as a Bank Vice President. After his retirement he enjoyed, serving his community as a volunteer, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was also very active in serving at his church, First Baptist of Mansfield.
Floyd is survived by his Wife, Emogene Samuel; son, Karl Samuel and wife Audrey; daughter, Donna Sloate and husband, Bob; granddaughters, April Martin and husband Kody; Lauren Ratterree and husband Billy; great granddaughters, Linzi Martin and Brylee Ratterree; great grandsons, Brancen and Brayden Ratterree; brothers Loyd Samuel and wife Doris, and James Samuel; and nieces , nephews and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be given to your charity of choice.
