Ellen Stewart Fricks

Born January 14, 1933 in Ft. Worth. Parents Guy and Flossie Stewart. Raised in Mansfield and attended Mansfield schools and North Texas State College. Married James Leroy Fricks on April 19, 1952 at the home of her parents. Moved to Arlington in 1954, worked in three banks, First National, Arlington National and Arlington State Bank. Had three children, Guy David, Cheryl Ann and Jeffrey Lynn Fricks. Retired in 1986 from Texas Commerce Bank. Moved to Mansfield and lived there for four years. Went to Chandler, Texas and lived on Lake Palestine for 9 1/2 years before traveling in an R.V. for 7 years. Settled in Whitney, Texas in 2001. Had 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, husband James and son Jeffery Fricks.
Ellen is survived by her son Guy (significant other Sheri Love) and daughter Cheryl Holt (husband Tim); grandchildren Candice Grisham, Jessica Ray, Christi Murphy, Kati Eller and Clint and Jimmy Fricks; great grandchildren Abby and Brody Grisham, Holton and Hattie Hawkins,Hadley and Lynna Eller, Bella Murphy, Brand and Riley Fricks and Thomas Murphy.
