Anna Elizabeth Harrison Saylors, 103, died Friday, April 28.
Service: Monday, May 1, at Park Springs Bible Church, 5515 Park Springs Blvd, Arlington. Burial: Emerald Hills Cemetery, Kennedale. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Mrs. Saylors was born in Powderly, on July 12, 1913, and spent most of her life in Tarrant County.
Elizabeth Harrison married Jodie J. Saylors on November 15, 1937 in Paris, Texas. The couple moved to Wichita, Kansas, where Jodie worked for the U. S. Railway Mail Service. In 1944, he was transferred to Fort Worth, where they made their home and cared for their two daughters, Emily Sue Saylors and Diane Elizabeth Saylors.
Mr. and Mrs. Saylors were charter members of the Fort Worth German Shepherd Dog Club and were members of the Fort Worth Kennel Club. Their German Shepherd, Saylors Rupert, earned his championship.
Mrs. Saylors was a member of Park Springs Bible Church.
Mrs. Saylors was our beloved Mother and Grammy.
Survivors: Daughters, Emily Sue Saylors Tripp and Diane Elizabeth Saylors; grandchildren, Christopher James Tripp (Annie), Byron Michael Tripp (Michele), (Emily's sons), James Justin Sanders (Jenny), and Jodie Thomas Sanders, (Diane's sons); great-grandchildren, Lauren Henderson, Riley Tripp, Amanda Sanders, Maggie Sanders, Melanie Sanders, Scotty Bratcher, Justin Kendrick, Jordan Kendrick, Jackson Sanders; and two great-great-granddaughters.
