Elizabeth Ann Day Andrew

The Andrew family lost its beloved matriarch, Elizabeth Ann Day Andrew, age 92, on Friday, January 10, 2014. Preceding her death, Mama Ann had been living in Texas with her Son, Glenn Andrew, Jr. and his Wife, Sharon. Preceding their move to Texas, Mama Ann and her Husband, George Glenn Andrew, Sr., lived in Lafayette, Louisiana from 1957 through 1997. Mama Ann will be buried in Mansfield, Texas, where she was born in 1921, and will rest beside her beloved Husband, Glenn, in the Day Family (Calvary) Cemetery.
Mama Ann is survived by her three children, Glenn, Jr. (Wife Sharon), Randy (Wife Connie) and Carol Pataky (Husband Ron). She Is also survived by six Grandchildren, Andy (Wife Ashley), Shanna DeLeon (Husband Ruben), Jennipher, Lauren, Rachel, and Reese. And, she is survived by two Great Grandsons, Grayson and Landon. Mama Ann was preceded in death by her two sisters Faye and Dorothy, and by her Brother Morris.
Mama Ann graduated from Texas Tech University in 1943, and later became a teacher in Lafayette. She was an active member of Alpha Beta Phi Sorority in Lafayette for many years.
Mama Ann's family is consoled by the knowledge that she lived her entire life with family and friends that loved her dearly. She will remain with us and God forever.
