Eldred "Bing" Kelly

Eldred D. "Bing" Kelly went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2016.
Service: 2 p.m., Thursday at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Dr., Arlington 76017. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, send donations to Shriner's Hospital or music fund at Pleasantview Baptist Church.
Bing was born to Eula and Rev. R.B. Kelly on March 30, 1937. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1955. He went to college in Oklahoma and joined the Air Force, serving for four years. After leaving the military, he went to work for the FAA in Kansas City. He was an Air Traffic Controller for 38 years.
He loved all sports, especially fishing, hunting and golf.
He was a faithful Christian and never missed an opportunity to share his love for the Lord with others.
Bing will be greatly missed by his family and many friends he leaves behind.
Survivors: Wife of 43 years, Elizabeth; seven children; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and by two sisters.
