Elaine Brown went home to her Heavenly Father on November 19, 2020. She was 82.
Elaine was born to Everett and Muriel (Eastburn) Solomon on March 29, 1938 in Hawthorn, California.
Elaine spent her childhood in California where she met and married Raymond Brown. They had three beautiful daughters, Michialle, Patricia, and Rae Ann. She later moved to Oklahoma and then to Texas after the passing of her husband Raymond. She found love for a second time with Jesse Moulton and they were married until his death in 2011.
Elaine had a servant’s heart. She volunteered at Arlington Memorial Hospital where a second family was created in the volunteer and medical staff at the hospital. She cultivated a church family at Crossroads Christian Church, in Grand Prairie, where she attended.
Family was an important aspect in Elaine’s life. Spending time with those she loved meant so much to her. Memories of camping trips with family, playing games including the dollar game at Christmas, handing out candy on Halloween, and being the “queen” of acey-ducey are moments Elaine’s family will cherish for the rest of their lives.
Elaine adored square dancing. Spending time dancing with her husband and daughters was one of her many passions. She went to several competitions with her square-dancing group.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands and her daughter Michialle Lynn Sykes.
Elaine is survived by her brother Vernon Paul Solomon, her daughters Patricia Carter and Rae Ann Haney, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
