Edward Ulvestad

MANSFIELD -- Edward Arnold Ulvestad, 86, passed away Wed., June 12.        Graveside: 3:15 p.m., Friday, June 28 at DFW National Cemetery.        Rememberances may be made to St. Gregory's Preschool, 1091 Country Club Dr., Mansfield, Tx. 76063; DFW Dachshund Rescue, P. O. Box 1892, Colleyville, Tx., 76034; or the charity of your choice.        Ed served in the U.S. Navy during WWll and was a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Ed was a member of St. Gregory's Anglican Episcopal Church of Mansfield. Many thanks to Avalon Alzheimer's Residential Care and Gardendale Hospice.        Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Collins Ulvestad, and his two sisters and two brothers.        Survivors are: wife of 31 years, Barbara, of Mansfield, Tx., son Eric, Lincoln, Il., daughter Jill, Bethesda, Md., stepsons Stephen Klotz, Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. and Phillip Klotz, Mansfield, Tx., six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three amazing dachshunds.
