Dwight Marvin Aylesworth

Dwight Marvin Aylesworth, 71, passed away on November 4, 2016 in Arlington, TX.
He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, on April 5, 1945, to the late Scott and Alma Aylesworth of Lucedale, Mississippi. Raised as a “Military Brat” he considered Texas to be his home. He graduated from Burgess High School in El Paso, Texas in 1963.
Dwight was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, and a proud veteran and member of DAV Arlington Chapter #157.
Dwight received his B.S. in Industrial Technology at Texas A&M Commerce; and completed a Masters of Project Management through Keller Graduate School of Business. He held an FCC Radio Operator License with special Radar Endorsement.
Professionally, Dwight had a lengthy career in the Technical Business Sector working for 3M, Bell & Howell, Clini-Therm, MTS, Pitney Bowes and Electrical South. His career took him from Arlington to Schaumburg, IL and Raleigh, NC until moving back to Arlington in 2007 prior to his retirement in 2011.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara; two children: Denise Cunningham of Plano, TX and Danielle Tomaszewski of Arlington, TX; grandchildren Kyler, Troy, Sydney, Brody and Avery; brother Paul (Joe) Aylesworth of Grand Prairie, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Disabled American Veterans ( www.dav.org )
