Duane Ray Arber

Duane was born in Fort Worth, TX. He grew up in Mansfield, where he lived at time of death.

Duane married his wife, Julie in May, 2000. He was a devoted husband and father.

Duane started work with Texas Rangers Baseball in 1986, where he worked for 33 years. He was a proud and loyal employee. He attended First Methodist Mansfield and loved his church, and serving. Duane played many sports growing up, but especially loved basketball, which he continued to play regularly into his 50s. He loved traveling and made several trips overseas. Duane loved the mountains, but he mostly loved beach trips with his family. He was most proud of his children. He loved all his family deeply. Duane was a strong, gentle man and great friend to many. His pets, Buddy and Ollie brought him happiness.
Duane loved well and was well loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dale Arber; brother Allen Arber.

Duane is survived by his wife, Julie Arber; daughter, Payton Arber; son, Landon Arber; parents, Carol and Johnny Hughes; brothers, Chris Hughes and wife Leigh, and Keith Hughes and wife Bridgette; and sister, Jennifer Yates and husband Stephen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
