Douglas "Little Doug" Sims

Arlington -- Douglas Griffin "Little Doug" Sims died Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
Service: 1 p.m., Saturday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society Relay for Life SE Tarrant County, 908 Turnberry Dr., Mansfield, 76063.
Doug spent his life working in the fencing and construction world. He was a devoted father, brother, son and friend.
Doug was born Nov. 10, 1951 and was preceded in death by mother, Bernice Sims and father Douglas Sims. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Son, Austin Douglas Sims of Arlington; daughter, Ashley D. Sims of Arlington; step-mother, Bobbye Sims of Arlington; sisters, Madelyn Atkins and husband, Gary of Cleburne, Peachy Chappell and husband, Russ of Mansfield; and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins and many caring and loving friends.
