Dorothy Jeanette Roper

Dorothy Jeanette Roper of Anna went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2014. She was born on October 5, 1939 in Ft. Worth to John and Dorothy (Dillehay) Roper. She loved the outdoors, Mexican food and truffles. Jeanette enjoyed spending time with her family. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents; John and Dorothy Roper, and son, Sean David Martin. Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband of 14 years, Weldon Roper; one daughter, Lisa Curry and husband Mark; one son, Sterlynn Roper, and stepson, Stacy Roper; two grandchildren, Stephen Curry and Nicole Ortiz and husband Eloy, step grandson, Alex Roper; four great grandchildren, Peyton Curry, Piper Curry, Presley Ortiz, Jaycey Ortiz; two Brothers, J.D. Roper and wife Ginger, and Richard Roper; as well as nieces and nephews, Joe Roper, Brian Roper, Chad Roper and Robin Derting; brother-in-law, A.B. Roper and wife Pat; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday April 22, 2014 from 12pm to 2pm at Blessing Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 2pm at Blessing Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
