Dorothy Louise Griffin, 91, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday August 26, 2021.
Funeral Service: 10 am Wednesday Sept 1, 2021 at Mansfield Church of Christ. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm Tuesday August 31, 2021 at Blessing Funeral Home of Mansfield. Interment: Mansfield Cemetery. Dot was born on January 29, 1930 and was a Mansfield native. She was married to the late Jim Griffin on February 10, 1950 in Paris, Texas. Dot worked at Mansfield State Bank, and Bank of America, and was a faithful member of Mansfield Church of Christ. She had a passion for cooking, serving at the church with her lady's group, and caring for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Dot is preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Louis Sprinkle; husband, Jim; sister, Ruth Ann Wright; brother, Tom Sprinkle; and baby Griffin. She is survived by her children, Kay Glover, and David (Kelly) Griffin; grandchildren, Stacie (Annie) Marvel, Larry (Nicole) Palmer, and Alexis Hall; great grandchildren, Teghan, Carly, Ella, and Colton; sister, Johnnie Charlene (Johnny Paul) Howard; and many nieces and nephews.
