Donald Richard Christian

MANSFIELD -- Donald R. Christian, 79, departed this life on Sunday March 15, 2015 after a long battle with dementia.
Service: Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 509 W Magnolia Ave. Fort Worth, 76104 with interment to follow at the Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: Friday March 20, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Memorials: Donations in memoriam may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption, please note in the memo section St. Timothy's DRC Memorial.
He was born in Fort Worth and graduated from Fort Worth Technical High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Returning to Fort Worth he attended Brantley Draughon business college where he met and later married Carol Luebbert in 1959.
Mr. Christian worked as a machinist until his retirement from Bell Helicopter.
Survivors: His wife of 55 years Carol, one daughter and 3 sons, 6 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. He is preceded in death by a daughter who died at childbirth.
