MANSFIELD -- Don Watt, 66, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home. Interment: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Blessing. Don was born Nov. 10, 1945, in Orange. He was a teacher and coach in Wills Point, Elgin, Trinidad, DeSoto and Mansfield. He also enjoyed researching his Scottish roots and attending highland games. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Fances Ealy Watt; father, Jack Watt; stepmother, Nancy Watt; and brother, Tommy Watt. Survivors: His wife of 44 years, Sarahlyn Gross Watt; son, Jarrel Watt (Annette) of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Jacey Matson (Randy) of Houston; granddaughters, Jenna and Melissa Watt; sister, Becky Watt of Irving; and numerous nieces and nephews.
