Don Bowzer

ARLINGTON -- Don Bowzer passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at an Arlington Hospital surrounded by family. Don was born June 30, 1944 in Macon, Mo., the son of James Franklin Bowzer, Shirley Anne Dove Bowzer. He married Susi on Oct 21, 1995 in Springfield, Mo. Don was an active member of Community of Hope UMC in Mansfield. He had also been active in DeMolay, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Macon, Mo. He was also a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Springfield, Mo. Don enjoyed bowling, playing golf, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Dallas Mavericks basketball. He was a veteran of the US Army and was retired for several years. Survivors: He is survived by Susi, his wife of 17 years; three children and their spouses: James Lance Bowzer and Shakira, Anne Rayna Lawson and Frank, Troy Bowzer and Olivia Barnes; six grandchildren: Amber and Dustin Lawson, Ian and Elle Bowzer, Keith Hazlip and Lillee Bowzer.
