Diane Jones Trojacek was born January 5th, 1947 in Batavia, New York to J.D. and Rita Jones.
Diane married at sixteen and had her son, John Robert, at 17. He was her pride and joy. He was 18 when she married Don, and there was always a mutual respect between them out of their love for her.
Diane and Don met on the dance floor at the Stagecoach ballroom in Fort Worth. They just seemed to click right away. After only a few weeks he was telling everyone he was going to marry her. Then one night while dancing he asked her to marry him. They tied the knot on January 15th, 1983. He was truly the love of her life, and during their thirty-five years together, they built a great life. They loved to travel to Port Aransas, TX in their motor home to fish and be with family. She was an exceptional cook and loved to craft and decorate her home.
She took great pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. It made her happy to cook and be with her family every chance she could. Her love for her family was her greatest treasure.
She worked for 30 years for Stratoflex-Parker in Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Ashcraft, and parents, J.D. and Rita Jones.
