Dennis Mayo Gillispie

Dennis Mayo Gillispie age 79 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Alvarado, Texas. He was born April 4, 1942 in Winnsboro, Texas to Dennis Ray and Lessie (Shambarger) Gillispie. Dennis served his country in first the United States Army and then the United States Airforce during the Vietnam War. He retired from Bell Helicopter where he worked as an engineer.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sara Gillispie and brother, Douglas Gillispie.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 18 years, Mary Ann Gillispie; sons, Cary Gillispie and wife Debbie and Jeff Gillispie and wife Stephanie; four grandchildren and extended family and friends.
