Deborah Jean Baty, 63, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, in Dallas, TX.
Deb was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 27, 1954 to Theodore L. Clark and June E. Hammerlund Clark.

She was a 1972 graduate of Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. After graduation, she joined the U.S. Navy where she met her husband Bill. They married in December of 1973, and Deb went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University. As an Occupational Therapist, she had a passion for working the elderly, and helping others in need. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mansfield where she assisted the hearing impaired by providing sign language during services.

Deb was preceded in death by her Father, Theodore L. Clark.

Survivors include her Mother, June E. Clark; her Husband, Bill Baty, Daughter, Jennifer L. Peterson and her husband, Chandler; her Son, Christopher P. Baty; and her Grandchildren, Megan and Jacob.

Visitation will be Friday, July 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, TX, and services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 15. Interment will be at the Gilliland Cemetery in Gilliland, TX.
