David Spainhour, 76 of Mansfield, Texas passed away on May 7, 2022, David was born on September 17, 1945 in Halifax, Virginia to Mary Jane (Adkins) and Frank William Spainhour. He attended high school in South Boston, Virginia. Later moving to Texas and pursuing a career in demolition.
David loved dogs. It is hard to find a picture of him without a dog on his lap. He also enjoyed food, reading, and cars. In his younger years he participated in drag racing, a hobby he took pride in.
David married his wife of 35 years, Diana Spainhour, in Fort Worth on November 14, 1986. He had four children, many grandchildren and great children. His laughter could fill a room and as they would describe him, he was onery but kind; he was quiet about his love, but they always knew it was there.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Diana Spainhour; sons, Christopher Spainhour and James Spainhour (Tarra); daughters, Charlene Sipilovic (Esad) and Tina Whitaker (Johnathan); grandchildren, Matthew Spainhour (Marissa), Celeste Coleman (Kyle), Candice Spainhour (Morgan), Ryann Spainhour, Sheherzada Sipilovic (Michael), Zahrah Sipilovic, Esad Sipilovic, Ronin Sipilovic (Sabrina), Jaidyn Whitaker, Stuart Mann, and Stephani Hall; brother, Beverly Spainhour; sister, Linda Campbell (Ken); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00PM at Blessing Colonial Chapel.
