David Paul

David Michael Paul passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Dallas. David was born April 25, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Ruth Odell Stockstill and Grady Henderson Paul. He was a member of Woodlands Park Church of Christ in Mansfield. He enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict and served on the USS Manatee (AO-58) and was awarded four medals during his tour. Upon discharge, David acquired his CDL license and began his truck driving career until he retired in 2004 due to health issues. He loved the outdoors, spinning yarns and cooking tex-mex dishes. Survivors include: Grady and Ruth Paul, Teresa Paul Jenkins, Strider Paul and death friend and caregiver, Rose. He will be laid to rest 9 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
