Daniel Todd Holland, 57, of Mansfield, TX, passed away peacefully at his home on September 21, 2019. Daniel, lovingly known as Dan or Danny, was born to Robert and Marie Holland in 1962. He attended Tonawanda High School in NY until the age of 17 when the family moved to Arlington, TX where he graduated from Bowie High School in 1980. He went on to attend The University of Texas at Arlington to study computer science. Dan began working for American Airlines on September 11, 1989 and continued working for the company when it became Sabre Corporations. He celebrated his 30th anniversary at Sabre Corporations on September 11, 2019.
Dan is survived by his daughter Victoria Holland, his son Jason Holland, his granddaughter Ryleigh Holland, his brother Kevin Holland and sister-in-law Patty Holland, his brother Regis Holland and his sister Susan Holland. Dan is preceded in death by parents Robert Holland and Marie Holland, and his brother David Holland.
Dan was known for his love of football, buffalo wings and, above all else, family. He was happiest when all three loves were combined into one of the regular Holland family gatherings. Dan had an amazing, positive outlook on life and could always be counted on for a perfectly timed joke and deep belly laugh. He knew well that life is about loving the journey and loving those you are on the journey with.
