Daniel Roy Boyer

Daniel Roy Boyer, 68, of Mansfield, born November 25, 1950 in Hereford, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. He married Shirley Mills on September 21, 2006. Danny was a realtor with Coldwell Banker for many years. He was active in the Kiwanis Club, Mansfield Chamber of Commerce and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mansfield. He attended West Texas A&M and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and La Vone Boyer and his sister Nancy Rough (Boyer).

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Shirley, daughter Danna Murrell and her husband Montana of Austin, son Beau Boyer and his wife Amber of Grand Prairie, bonus daughter Leslie Fearka of Arlington, and bonus daughter Amy Rana and her husband Paul of Austin. Additional surviving family include his niece Danielle Cyr (Mulkey), Nephew Chad Mulkey and their families. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Witten, Bailey, Brailyn and Melody.

Danny was a very compassionate people person who loved to be involved in the community and church. He enjoyed volunteering, especially Nursing Home Bingo. He was often found drumming along to Beatles music or singing along with The Beach Boys. His favorite past time was spending time with his family. He loved golf whether playing or watching it on tv (nap time).
