Dale Fomby

Arlington, TX – Dale J. Fomby, 80, went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Dale was born November 29, 1932 in Maud, Texas, the son of Ennis and Nova Hill Fomby. He proudly served in the U.S. military which took him to Alaska in 1952. In 1955, he started his excavation company in Anchorage, where he remained until 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rene Fomby.
Survivors: wife, Dorothy Fomby; children, Michael Fomby, Jeff Fomby, Sheri Patterson and Rhonda Fomby; step-children, Jerry Yates and Bonnie Son; and grandchildren, Marisa, Adam, Jamie.
