Curtis Potter Wheat

Curtis Potter Wheat, 79, of Mansfield, Texas passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. Curt was
born in Sparta, Tennessee on April 12, 1942. He graduated from White County High School in
Tennessee and served in the United States Air Force. Curt was married to Barbara McDonald on
August 20, 1965, in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in
Mansfield, Texas and the Local #572 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union in Nashville, Tennessee. He
had a passion for cars, motorcycles, and a sweet tooth for candy.
Curt is preceded in death by his parents, Morgan and Ida Wheat. He is survived by his wife,
Barbara Wheat; daughter, Andrea Hensley; grandchildren, Adriana Hensley and Lane Hensley;
and sister, Forrest Ann Clements.
