Clara Helen Cooper

Mrs. Clara Helen (Boone) Cooper, born on June 12, 1932 in Kingman, Arizona, to the late Helen Noli and the late Jack Boone, passed away at age 86 on May 23, 2019 in Mansfield, Texas.

She attended Kingman High School. She was a full-time homemaker and mother. Clara was married to the late Thomas Cooper, Jr. for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Albert Noli; brothers, George Boone and Albert Noli, Jr.; and sister, Roberta Noli.

Clara is survived by her son, Michael and wife Karen Cooper; daughters, Marcia Cooper and Tommye Cooper; sister, JoAnne Lutterman; grandchildren, Chris and Meredith Cooper, Alicia and Jason Mitchell, Jessica Cooper, and Taylor Harrison; great-grandchildren, Jackson Cooper, Colleen Cooper, Samuel Cooper, and Ciel Mitchell; sister-in-laws, Rosslynn Boone and Carol Noli; and dear friend, Shirley Hammett.

Clara was a great collector of antiques of all types. She had a booth for many years at the Mansfield Antique Mall. This love of old things was passed onto her children. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and at one time, was in the altar society. She was president of Mansfield PTA, and a volunteer at Campfire Girls, Cub Scouts of America, and Methodist Thrift Store.
