With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Christopher Michael Carranza on Saturday, March 15th, 2025.
Born on January 25, 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas, Christopher was the son of Andrea Carranza Soto, Jesus Soto and Daniel Martinez.
Christopher came in ready to take over the world, he was fearless, always getting into anything and everything, always very curious and even gave his mom a scare or two. From a young age, he was known for always having the most beautiful smile, the kindest heart, being a hopeless romantic and always having an adventurous spirit. Christopher was a great student, getting As and Bs without even opening a book and never got into any trouble.
Christopher was the life of the party, if Christopher was there you were guaranteed to have a good time, he was always ready for anything and everything. Christopher was very easy-going, loved hard, very affectionate, and the most humble and loyal person you could ever meet. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend and father who filled the lives of all who knew him. You could simply not be around Christopher without having a smile on your face. Christopher loved spending time with his family and friends, traveling, loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved him some Spiderman! You could not be around him for long without knowing of his love for Spiderman, he even had a special birthday request for his 21st birthday, a Spiderman cake! Christopher had such a special bond with his family and close friends, and was known for always putting others first. He would never hesitate to offer a helping hand or crack a joke to make those around him feel better. Those who were fortunate enough to know Christopher will remember the love and laughter he brought to every room.
Christopher is survived by his daughter Leya Rey, his parents, Andrea Carranza Soto and Jesus Soto, Daniel and Esther Martinez, his siblings Aaliyah and Victoria Soto, Destiny, Mariah, Daniel Jr., Emma and Viviana Martinez, and many other beloved family members and friends.
His family and friends are invited to share in celebrating the life of Christopher.
A viewing and visitation for Christopher will be held on Monday, March 24 from 5-8pm at Blessings Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. For the visitation on Monday, March 24, the family welcomes everyone to wear blue, Christopher’s favorite color.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 11am at Creekwood Church in Mansfield, followed by a graveside burial at Skyvue Memorial Gardens immediately after.
We are eternally grateful for the time we had with Christopher. He will forever remain in our hearts, and we will continue to carry his love and memory so Leya Rey can grow up knowing and feeling how much her father loved her.
