Christopher Allen Bowden passed away Dec. 23, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born Dec 6, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Chris was a cabinet maker and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Music was a passion that he expressed with several instruments. He loved gathering with his friends to sing. Holiday fireworks were a big thrill for Chris. He engineered several pyrotechnic displays for his friends to enjoy.
He was preceded in death by his brother Andrew and mother Mary Ellen. Survivors include his father Deacon Ed Bowden, and sisters Michele, Angela and husband Matt Berger, Elizabeth and husband David Dreiling, nieces Victoria and husband Matt Keller and Valerie Berger.
His life will be celebrated in a memorial service at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, TX 401 Elm Street, Friday 7:30PM Dec. 30, 2016.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
