Chau Tran

Chau Ngoc Tran, 71, of Mansfield, Texas went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2023.

Chau was born in North Vietnam on February 23, 1952. He traveled to the United States to
live a better life. He also wanted his family to have a better life. He worked hard, put
himself through college and earned an Electrical Engineer degree. He loved his
computers. You could always find him working on his computers or fixing anything. He
loved God, his church and his family. He always loved helping people anytime he could.
He also enjoyed cooking especially for his family. He loved playing and laughing with
his grandchildren. We will miss Chau (Pop, Grandpa) and will always keep him close to
our hearts.

Chau is preceded in death by his parents, Ru Viet Tran and Thay Thi Tran.

He is survived by his wife, Lan Tran. Children, Jimmy Morrow, Cathy Oates, Hanh Tran,
Hoa Tran and Bau Tran. Brothers, sisters and their families, Nu Tran, Hong Hoang, Dao
Tran, Hoa Tran, Mung Nguyen, Ngoc Tran, Anne Spruengli, Cain Tran, Anh Tran and
Hang Tran. Grandchildren, Cody and Jennifer Oates, Amber and Zack Hallak, Jimmy and
Ashley Morrow, Shandel, Jacob Rogers and Edlynn and Asher Tran, Rachel and Alvin Tran, Vincent and Jolene Tran. Great grandchildren, Brylee and Jaxson Oates, Zoey Hallak, Jaron and Jaycie Larock, Jacqueline and Joshua Morrow, Oliver and Ellie Rogers.
