MANSFIELD -- Charles Williams, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2015.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, Mansfield 76063.

Charles "Willie" worked at Vought Aeronautics as an electrician for 35 years, retiring in 2001 and stayed in touch with his friends through the Retiree Club.
Although he was retired, he continued "working" at his hobbies - teaching his grandchildren to fish, garden, and appreciate NASCAR. He loved his grandchildren dearly who revered him as "Pops." He demonstrated to his grandchildren how to have a servant heart, helping anyone needing assistance.
Charles loved to be outdoors in nature where he felt closest to God. We know he is a whole man in heaven, heart, mind, body and soul.
Survivors: Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sherry Clemons Williams; sisters, Dorothy Williams Hoppes and Patsy Williams Allen; sons, Chris Williams and his wife, Sherri, Mark Williams and his wife, Jenniffer; daughter, Jennifer Williams Wright and her husband, Dan; and grandchildren, Joshua Williams and his husband, Matthew Delos Reyes, Justin Wright, Jacob Williams, Kaylie Wright, Landon Wright and Jared Williams.
