Charles Wells, 76, of Arlington, Texas, was taken to his heavenly home on Friday, September 7, 2018.
Charles was born in Childress, Texas on October 7, 1941, the son of L.V. Wells and Mable Armstrong Wells. He married Martha Jewel Hughes in Childress on November 30, 1960, beginning a 57 year journey together. Charles worked for the City of Amarillo and was a sanitation trainer. He was retired/disabled at the time of his home going. His religion was Inter-Denominational and had been a member of Victory Church of Amarillo, Texas and Crossroads Christian Church of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Charles is survived by his WIFE, Martha Jewel Wells; 2 SONS: Victor Wells and Vincent Wells of Amarillo Texas; 4 DAUGHTERS: Valerie Wells of Arlington, Texas, Vanessa Thibert and husband Michael Thibert of Mansfield, Texas; Charlene Wells of Arlington, Texas and Camesha Pena and husband Rick Pena of Grand Prairie, Texas; BROTHER: Billy Wells and wife Dana Wells of Houston, Texas; SISTERS: Frankie Keys of Chicago, Illinois; Fannie Rush of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Linda Thomas of Boulder, Colorado; 12 GRANDCHILDREN: LaKeisha Harper; Demarcus Daniels; Victoria Williams; Alexis Wells; Aradyous Weatherly; Deveney Wells; Kayrin Wells; Michael Thibert, II; Marquis Thibert; Sydnei Pena; Sabastian Pena; Sierra Wells. 6 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in Death by his Parents, brother, and 2 sisters
