Charles Ray Seeton

December 19, 1928 — July 1, 2024

Charles Ray Seeton, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2024. He was born December 19,1928 in San Angelo, Texas to Albert Andrew Seeton and Mattie Adell Howard. Charles grew up in a large family, with seven brothers and sisters.

He attended Mansfield schools but started his work life at an early age. Charles married Anice Elaine Hayes, and they shared a loving 68 years of marriage together.

Charles was a cement mason by trade and a loving father to his four children. Charles, known as “Papa” to family, and even all of the assisted living caring staff. He was known in his later years of calm demeanor and the always agreeable response of “Okay”, even with declining health conditions.

Charles is preceded in death by his beloved wife Elaine Seeton, daughter Susan Rohlfing, parents Albert and Mattie, and five siblings.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory children Mack Seeton and wife DeeDee, Linda Black and husband Bo, Nancy Carey and husband Greg, and son-in-law Bill Rohlfing; grandchildren Marci Swan, Kurt Rohlfing, Kyle Rohlfing, Stephanie Hash, Steven Black, Krista Carey, and Brooke Altobelli, eight great grandchildren; brother Jerry Seeton; sister Shirley Davis; and several extended family and friends.

The family is thankful for the caring staff at Mustang Creek Estates Assisted Living for their dedication and loving care for Charles in his later years.
