Cecil Coy Hamaker was born on October 29, 1940 and died on June 10, 2020.
He was born in Warren, Arkansas, the son of Coy Nevins Hamaker and Sarah Alice Harris Hamaker. Cecil married Sylvia Chestine Howard on March 11, 1960 in Houston, Texas. He was employed by Weyerhaeuser for 40 years and retired after 22 years as production manager. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, building furniture and watching sports. Cecil was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Gary Smith of Arlington, Texas; son, Raymond Hamaker of Fort Worth, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Daren and Mitzi Hamaker of Lufkin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Chris Sullivan of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Megan Porterfield and husband Phillip, Elizabeth Hamaker, Bryan Hamaker and wife Megan, Daniel Hamaker, Emily McAdams and husband Gabriel, Maura Smith, Madison Sullivan, and Tucker Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Porterfield and Aiden Porterfield; brother, Bill Hamaker, sister, Mary Persky and husband Tom, brother, Richard Hamaker and wife Pat, brother, Jim Hamaker and wife Barbara; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Cecil was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Sylvia Hamaker and brother Bob Hamaker.
