Catherine Baldwin Kirkpatrick, 61, passed away August 15, 2019 in Dallas. Cathie was born to Donald and Gerry Baldwin on October 12, 1957 in Norwalk, Connecticut. Cathie attended Central Bucks High School in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
Cathie worked in payroll for over 40 years. She retired with IESI as the payroll manager at their corporate office, she had been with the company for 16 years. She was known for her hard work, tenacity, and ability to tell where that .01 cent was missing. In the past year Cathie held the position of treasurer for the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Payroll Association. Cathie had a bigger heart than most. She loved her Lord. She attended TCAL (The Community at Lakes) where she enjoyed her church family and bible study. Cathie loved her friends. Spending time with friends was one of her favorite pastimes, especially when it involved wine and the random adventures that sometimes took place. She loved playing games, especially BUNCO, reading and listening to audio books and collecting jewelry, the bigger the better. Cathie supported causes such as Real Hope, a counseling and mental health organization, because of her caring nature for people. She was just one of the kindest, selfless, most giving people that a select few had the privilege to call friend, Mom and wife. Cathie is preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Jerry and father Donald Baldwin.
Cathie is survived by her daughter Lauren Peters (husband Brandon), Brothers Tom Baldwin (wife Rita) Rich Baldwin (wife Susan) and Jim Baldwin as well as all of her BBE’s. Cathie fiercely loved, quickly forgave and tenaciously fought. A hole in the hearts to all those who knew and loved Cathie will never be filled again but the precious gift of the memories given will be cherished throughout the countless relationships she had. She is loved and will be truly missed.
