Carl “Wayne” Stewart, 61, of Mansfield, Texas passed away April 28, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Wayne was born January 22, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Carl Martin Stewart, Sr. and Mable Lorene Davis. While he spent his early working days framing houses with his father, Wayne eventually became a machinist and worked as a shop foreman for Bell Helicopter before founding his own company in Arlington, J&S Tool and Die. Wayne enjoyed playing billiards and golf and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, spending many a weekend collecting the trophies that line his garage. He also enjoyed vacationing with family, especially if there was a casino nearby! Wayne never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Sharon; son Casey Stewart & Fay; son Steve Lambert & Stacy; daughter Kelly Cox & Brian; son Rick Bell & Kimberlee; daughter Jennifer Bell & Russell; 8 grandchildren: Cameryn, Chase, Austin, Jamison, Haydon, Lauren, Taylor, & Ryan; mother, Mable Stewart; sister, Janie Porter; brother, Carl Stewart and brother Colton Stewart. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Carolyn, father Carl, and his brother Marty.
Visitation will be at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm Street, Mansfield, TX 76063 this Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6-8 pm. If desired, please make a donation to either your favorite charity or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
