Camille grew up in Johnston RI and attended Lincoln School in Providence, RI and
graduated from Boston University in 1960. She married her childhood sweetheart Victor
F Pitocco from Cranston, RI on May 5, 1962. She was a special education teacher
before starting her own family. Camille was the matriarch of the Pitocco family,
dedicating her entire life to her husband and children. She was a wonderful cook who
planned many family gatherings. Everyone has fond memories of our gatherings and
especially our Christmas Eve celebrations where she worked tirelessly to make special.
Throughout her life she helped her husband’s career, moving and traveling all over the
United States, Asia and Europe together. She helped her children and their friends when
struggling. Teaching was her calling. In 1994 she went back to teaching for over 20
years and worked up until the pandemic. A loving caregiver in every sense of the word,
she would offer her wisdom and guidance when needed. She will never be forgotten;
she was truly one of a kind and the great memories she created will be something the
family talks about at all our future gatherings.
Camille will be cremated and as a result there won’t be a visitation service. Funeral
Mass will be held at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 5819 W Pleasant Ridge Rd,
