Byron D. Wells

Byron D. Wells, 89, passed away at home surrounded by his family, Tuesday June 2, 2015.
Visitation: Friday, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., June 5, 2015 at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Service: Saturday, 10:00 a.m., June 6,2015,at the Central Baptist Church, Mansfield. Burial: Damascus Cemetery, Lindale.
Byron was born in Lindale on May 2, 1926 to Almer and Pearl Wells. He was a longtime resident of Mansfield where he was a member of Central Baptist Church, Widowed Persons Service and was a master mason of the Grand Lodge. Byron enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and enjoyed being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary, parents, Almer and Pearl, brothers, Hansel, James, Floyd, Billie, Willie B. and Lessie, sister, Henrietta, and son in law, Victor Fults.
Survivors: daughter, Debi Fults of Burleson; sons, Byron "Rusty" Wells and wife Carrie of Burleson and Kenneth Wells of Mansfield; grandchildren, Hollie, Kris and Amanda Fults, Ashley, Derek, Lauren and Brandy Wells; great grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Cayla, Emmalee, Hannah, Cayden, Fayeth and Raylin;his very dear friend, Yvonne Moore.
