Billie E. Reel, MANSFIELD, TX - Billie Reel, 86, passed from this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 5, 2017.
Billie was a faithful follower of Christ and believed strong in his power. Before her death, she was a widow or, mother of four, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter-in-law and aunt. She one of six siblings, three girls and three boys. Billie was the daughter of Jim and Ruby Bailey. She was raised in the Church of Christ and later became the daughter-in-law of a Baptist Minister. She and her husband found themselves happy in the Methodist Church. She and her husband taught their two girls the love of Christ. Billie believed everyone had good in them, but we just have to look a little harder in some people to find it. She was able to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren in the months prior to her death, something Billie enjoyed.
Survivors: Jaimie Palmer of Mansfield, daughter; Annamarie Black of Ballinger, daughter; Suzy Black of Ballinger, daugher; Wayne Bailey of Abilene, brother; three sister-in-laws, four grand children: Brinden Bocksell of Haslet, Chase Palmer of Mansfield, Megan Johnson of Fort Worth, and four great grandchildren: Kiyle, Alyssa, Adelyn and Lukas.
She is preceded in death by: Winford C. Reel, spouse; Sandra K. Nolder, daughter; Dillon D. Palmer, grandson; sisters Eloise Prine and Christine Seals, brothers Jesse Bailey and Jim Bailey.
Ceremony: Billie requested a simple graveside burial at home. Billie’s family will be honoring those wishes. She will be taken back home to Runnels County. She will be buried in a small graveside gathering in Ballinger to honor her life and celebrate her new. She will be surrounded by family.
