Betty Sue Fuqua, 85, was called home by her Heavenly Father on January 9, 2021.
Betty was born to Sam Livingston and Lector Iola (Jones) Lambert on April 10, 1935 in Webb, Texas.
Betty met Jimmie Lee Fuqua, Sr., in Grand Prairie, in 1951. They married and shared 42 years of life together, having seven children.
Betty lived simply. Sipping coffee and visiting with her family, making sure no one left her house hungry and cooking for her family meant the world to her.
Betty is preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Jimmie, sons Jimmie Lee Fuqua, Jr. and William Michael Fuqua; daughter Sue Ann Fuqua; brothers Robert, Leon, DeWayne and Kenneth Lambert and sister Billie June Norris.
Betty is survived by son Curtis Fuqua (wife Teresa), daughters Karen Johnson (husband Don), Jeannie Suth (husband Robert), Sharon Tomlinson (husband Ronny) and Debra Tomlinson (husband Marshall); 15 grandchildren Mischelle Galloway, Joey Fuqua, Jamie Fuqua, Christopher Johnson, Ashley Carter, Bobby Suth, Lisa Cathey, Jimmie Suth, Terra Tomlinson, Trisha Williams, Krystal Jobe. Joseph Fuqua, Jeremy Fuqua, Dawndi Reeves and Malachi Tomlinson; 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nephew Obie Norris of Alabama and Niece Rhonda of California.
