Basilius "Jim" Ruscheinsky

Basilius “Jim” Ruscheinsky, aged 90, went home to be with the Lord, June 19, 2024. Jim was born December 8, 1933 in Romania to Alois Ruscheinsky and Anna Bernhard. He married the love of his life, Bertha, on December 2, 1974, they shared a beautiful 49 years.

 Jim and Bertha were parishioners at Saint Matthew Catholic Church. He was an avid supporter of tthe fish fry at the Knights of Columbus. Jim was a fanatical sports fan, and could always be found cheering on the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, but his favorite was the Bayern Munich Soccer team. Jim was a loving, kind, and patient man. He was almost always happy, and so enthusiastic waiting on his favorite shows to come on. Jim also loved burgers and going to Vegas to play the nickel machines.

 Jim is preceded in death by his parents Alois and Anna Ruscheinsky, brother John Ruscheinsky, and sister Maria Becker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory beloved wife of 49 years Bertha Ruscheinsky, daughters Zyzla Brigance and husband Mark, and Monika Ann Jaso and husband Jesse, grandson Vincent Brigance, sister Hilda Peconic and husband Jack, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
