Austin Ryan Wilkens

MANSFIELD -- Austin Ryan Wilkens, 21, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016.

Austin was born Nov. 23, 1994 in Arlington, TX. He attended Mansfield High School and was a 2013 graduate of Texas Tech University ISD and attended Tarrant County College. Austin played football at Mansfield High School and also played club baseball. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Austin was a blessing from God and so loved. He was kind, funny and had a compassionate heart for others. Austin enjoyed hanging out with friends and making people laugh with his quick wit. He was intelligent, creative and had a passion for drawing. He loved sports, and liked to watch ESPN and had a knack for statistics. Like his Grandpa Rupp, his favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals. Austin was always recognized for his Sampson like blonde, curly hair.
Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Phyllis Rupp and Donald and Janet Wilkens.
Survivors: Mother, Denise Rupp Wilkens; father, Donald Wilkens; uncle, Geoff Rupp; aunts, Michelle Rupp, Debbie Gray and Cheryl Adams; cousins, Morgan Rupp, Mason Rupp, Megan Rupp, Amy Jacobsen, Michelle Colletti and Sal Castro.
