Antonieta “Tonie” Contreras

Antonieta “Tonie” Contreras, 56, of Mansfield, Texas passed away in her home on September 28, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10th, 1961 in Del Rio, Texas.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Antonio and Beatriz Valdez, Sister Socorro Valdez Tarin and Aunt Sara Andrade of Del Rio, Texas.

Tonie had a true passion for helping others. She worked for the Mansfield School District for 25 years before retiring in 2017. She radiated positive energy and was always smiling. She loved her family and making people laugh. She truly enjoyed watching high school football/softball, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Patricio Contreras III, Son Patricio Contreras IV and Wife Amber Calnan, daughter Kelsey Coombs and Husband Keniel Coombs of Mansfield, Texas. Sister Rosa Maria Barrera and Husband Rogelio Barrera of Lewisville, Texas. Brother Juan Antonio Valdez of Mansfield, Texas and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
