Annette (Nana) White, 83, was called home Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Mansfield following a brief illness and prolonged chronic pain.
Service: 1 p.m., Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Born and raised in Venus, she married her high school sweetheart, Glenn (Honey White) at the age of 17. After several local jobs she and Glenn raised their family in Mansfield where she was secretary to the Mansfield Independent School District Superintendent for 30 years. She was loved and admired by many co-workers who have expressed their love and admiration.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Holman and Ophelia Armstrong, brother,Sonny Armstrong and sister, Janiece Seeton.
The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving care she received from family and friends, particularly Maureen Gann, Yvette Rongo and the staff of Mansfield Methodist Hospital and Kindred Hospital.
Survivors: She will be in the hearts of her lifelong husband, W. Glenn White; daughters, Cindy Collins Costello, and husband, Rich, Amanda White; sons, Alan Glenn (Butch) White and wife, Terri, Jimmy Dale White and wife, Luann. She was so proud of her granddaughters families, Carly Collins Klingler and Lance Klingler; Carmen Collins Sivadge and Erik Sivadge, Natalie White, Madison White and fiancé, Allister Mather. Her great-grandchildren were her loves; Hayden Belcher, Tyler Belcher, Collin Sivadge, Chase Sivadge, Marisa Klingler and Jordan Hodgson. She is also survived by one brother, Bobby Armstrong and wife, Jan of Midlothian and their family, sister-in-laws, Judy Baird of Midlothian and Nancy Allen of Beaumont and many nieces and nephews who loved her.
